I am a Cubs fan. I am not from Chicago. I am born and raised in the "Valley of the Sun", where the Cubs spring train. I grew up watching them on WGN during the summer, just about every Saturday and/or Sunday broadcast. My first baseball game, I was 6 or 7 and it was the Cubs. The Diamondbacks didn't get here until 1998, I had already graduated high school. My heart loves what it loves, and that love, lies with the Chicago Cubs.
I can remember watching Dunston, Maddux, Dawson, Grace, Sosa and Wood. The Hawk is still my favorite. This passion runs deep.
You probably won't find the latest stats on the hottest MLB players on here. Unless, they are possibly going to be playing for the team sometime soon.... #harpertothecubs #mannymachadotothecubs ha! This is about The Cubs, and the quest for another 21st century World Series title! #worldseries2019 thats my prediction.
Along with my passion for baseball, I also enjoy traveling (especially to Chicago) to see the Cubs play. I have a goal to see them play across the U.S. and along the way I'd like to stop in and eat at amazing restaurants and bars that are Cub fan friendly.
