The Vision is 2020

Oh the excitement of a new season!!!

With changes not all agree with. Letting Maddon, Hamels and Castellanos go was heartbreaking. Does having our beloved “grandpa” as skip give us a sense of comfort? Yes, having someone near and dear to our hearts does ease some of the pain, well, at least for me it does.

Opening day of spring training was a rainy day, but rain brings a clean slate and new hope. The weather didn’t bring too many out, but the die hards saw past the rain. Luckily for us, the clouds parted, the national anthem was sung with pride and a beautiful Arizona sunset took over the scenery, but, not for long. The Cubs came out and showed us what our starters, and veterans still have the talent, grit and stamina. I know what you’re thinking, these games don’t count… YES THEY DO! They showcase what can, and hopefully will be what we get to look forward to!

Last night’s game restored what I needed, a sense of good team taking the field.

Here’s to a new season! CHEERS CUBS FANS!!!!

Saying Goodbye is Never Easy

It's Been Too Long!!
